You are what you eat! Did
you know that you have the unique ability to influence reality - big
time - if your body is full of energy and vitality , or sick , lethargic
and headed for a derailment ? Much of this depends on what you eat.
How does it work ? Stay with me here while I give you a quickie recycling biology . Your body is composed of millions of cells ? BILLIONS ! Every part of his body, the hair on the top of the head to the tip of his little toe rather , is composed of cells .
This means that all organs, all blood vessels , tendons , ligaments and bones. ALL !
And each cell is affected by and affects all other cells in a form, but indirectly. Every day , millions of these cells die .
But fear not , because every day you create millions of new to replace those that have reached the cemetery.
Here 's where it gets interesting! This ... We can determine how will these new cells ! And that , my friend, is how to influence your health !
Depending on what and how we eat our food choices determine the quality of these new cells !
This means that every day you have the opportunity to create brand new cells that can be even better than the last! ( Or, to create low quality cells are malfunctioning - but let's focus on the positive here , ok ? )
Why is it important? When we eat good food , good plants (or animals ) that grow in good soil (or another healthy environment ) , healthy cells are created , happy ( think " smiley faces " ) .
You're smiling now make some of the billions of cells that make up the sides of the body. So the more you eat well , you create more smiling faces - every day! The result? One of them, the body becoming happier and healthier ! It works both ways :
whenever we eat is not as good as good food sources (eg , treaties , things packaged or commercially grown foods that contain a lot of hormones and pesticides ) create unhappy cells ( Smiley) .
And ..... eat more of this type , the body becomes unhappy , which makes them more prone to illness , disease , cancer , and therefore a lot of bad things we do not want .
What to eat ? I could write books about this ( and volumes have been written, it has created more confusion! ) . But I'm going to boil this down into a few key points based on the great book by Michael Pollan , Food Rules : An Eater 's Manual Year .
I loved this book .
It is simple , concise , and that's exactly what I would have written if he had set up a best-selling book on nutrition ! " Food Rules " provides an illustrative list of practices , common sense rules to eat highest attainable standard of health , the beginning. Eat foods (which means real food , not processed food substances like ) , most plants ( for all the amazing although provided ) and not too ( always in moderation) .
